I Lost My Body: This Oscar-winning animated French film from 2019 follows a severed hand as it runs around trying to find its body. The surreal tale deftly combines elements of horror with a (rather strange) love story and an underlying theme of existential longing. Most of all, it’s an exploration of how we navigate loss and tragedy. Available on Netflix.
