WASTE-FREE TITLE FOR NAWANSHAHR

JALANDHAR : Nawanshahr, of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, has achieved three-star ratings and title of garbage-free city under 50,000 population category (2020) for the second time. The ratings results were announced by the Union ministry of urban and housing on Tuesday. DC Vinay Bublani said the credit goes to staff of Nawanshahr municipal council.
