MAN THRASHED OVER OLD ENMITY

BATALA : A 25-year-old was reportedly undressed and brutally beaten him by some youths over old enmity outside Bhagtupur village under Ghumman police station. Accused made a video of the incident and uploaded it on social media. Hargobindpur DSP Sanjeev Kumar said victim Ranjeet Singh lodged a complaint that he had old enmity with one Jatinder Singh. On May 15, Jatinder, Rana and Kali forcibly took him to a deserted place, where some others were waiting. Police have registered a case under Sections 323, 341, 148, and 149 of the IPC and 66 of the IT Act against Jatinder, Rana and Kali and seven unidentified persons, who are on the run.
