MIGRANT DIES AFTER FALLING OFF BRIDGE DURING STAMPEDE IN UP

BAREILLY: Two migrant labourers fell from a bridge over Ganga at Amroha-Hapur border reportedly following a stampede here following a traffic jam at Brijghat in Gajraula on Tuesday. The injured were rushed to the Meerut medical college where one of them died during treatment, the condition of the other was said to be critical. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old migrant worker died under mysterious circumstan­ces in Khagaria district of Bihar minutes after he got off a Shramik Special train, said police on Wednesday. The man, a native of Bachhauta village had come from New Dellhi. As soon as he alighted from train, he collapsed on the platform and died at the hospital.
