MIGRANT LABOUR HAS RIGHT TO DIGNITY

Apropos the editorial, ‘The Centre’s report card’ (May 20), the government has tackled the Covid-19 crisis well. However, it should have ensured that the migrant labourers did not suffer. It was heart rendering to see women and children with baggage on their heads walking hundreds of miles. Indians must respect the humanity and dignity of the labour class.
