AAP protests charging of power bills

GURDASPUR: The activists of Gurdaspur unit of AAP Punjab protested against the electricity bills being sent on average basis outside DC office on Friday. The protest was led by AAP Punjab general secretary Dr Kamaljit Singh, and Gurdaspur district president Sherry Kalsi. Dr Singh said the state should waive off power bills for the lockdown period as many people did not earn any money during this period. He said if government does not pay heed, AAP will launch a statewide protest.
