BJP TO OFFER ONLINE COURSE ON GOOD GOVERNANCE
NEW DELHI: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-backed think tank, Public Policy Research Centre, will offer a five- day online training module on good governance to mark the party’s one year in office, on May 30. Giving details of the programme that is open to all, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, national vice-president of BJP and honorary director of PPRC said the Modi government has offered good governance, and its emphasis on last-mile delivery, efficient execution and use of technology played a key role in its return in 2019. It will have bureaucrats, both serving as well as retired, as resource persons. Joint secretary in the health ministry, Lav Agarwal, NITI Aayog CEO, Amitabh Kant are also likely to be part of the course. On its website the PPRC described the course in good governance as one “imbued with public interest that demands exemplary collaborative inputs in the administration”.
