A ‘DIFFICULT’ EID FOR HUMA, SAQIB

- Rishabh Suri rishabh.suri@htlive.com n

Eid is an occasion to be celebrated with family, but this time around, things will be different for actor Saqib Saleem and his sister, actor Huma Qureshi.

“Huma and I always plan not to work during Ramzan, and try to stay at home. Usually, our parents are here in Mumbai and we celebrate Eid together. But this year, it looks difficult,” he says, asserting that safety is above everything.

While it’s disheartening for the duo, Saleem, 32, says, “This might be irritating, but we keep telling ourselves that it’s essential to show character at this point and stay strong.” Saleem has kept himself busy during the last two months, as he believes “an idle mind is of no use”. “I watched new seasons of the shows I had seen, and revisited writing,” reveals the actor, who is also using this time to rekindle old friendships.
