GOLDEN TEMPLE ‘SERAI’ HOSTING MEDICAL STAFF

AMRITSAR: Mata Bhag Kaur Yadgari Niwas, one of the “serais” of Golden Temple, where pilgrims are accommodated during normal, is serving medical staff treating Covid-19 patients at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, a part of Government Medical College, here. Situated near bus stand, the “serai” has total 41 wellfurnished rooms and 22 of them are booked for the staff of the hospital, which is largest Covid-19 care and testing centre of Punjab. “The rooms are air-conditioned ,” said Ramandeep Singh, in-charge of the serais.
