SAD urges Centre to probe ‘scam’ in distribution of relief material

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) legislature wing leader Sharanjit Singh Dhillon on Sunday urged consumer affairs, food and public distribution minister Ram Vilas Paswan to depute a central team to investigate the “multithousand crore scam” in distribution of food material sent as central relief to Punjab. State BJP spokesperson Anil Sarin also accused the Congress government in the state of large-scale irregularities in the distribution of free grains and pulses in the state.
