J&K contributes Rs 10 cr towards PM Cares Fund

JAMMU: The union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday contributed Rs 10 crore to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund towards the efforts being undertaken by the Union government to prevent and contain Covid-19 pandemic across country. Lieutenant governor Girish Chandra Murmu has sanctioned the said amount out of the J&K Relief Fund to be released as a contribution from J&K towards PM Cares Fund.
