Spl rules for fast track recruitments in J&K

JAMMU: The J&K government has decided to approve the Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-4 (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020, to lay down procedure and criteria for selection to all Class-4 posts. The decision was taken in a meeting of the administrative council held under the chairmanship of L-G Girish Chandra Murmu.

2K PANCHAYAT ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTS POSTS TO BE FILLED

The administrative council gave a go-ahead to recruitment of 2,000 panchayat accounts assistants. The selection will be made through SSR Board, on the basis of merit determined through a written test only.

Recruitment of panchayat accounts assistants will help in proper maintenance of accounts and booking of expenditure in panchayats.

TRANSGENDERS TO GET PENSION IN J&K

The council accorded sanction to the extension of coverage of J&K Integrated Social Security Scheme to transgenders, by including them as beneficiaries. A monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,000 will be provided.
