MAJITHIA DONATES WHEAT FOR GOLDEN TEMPLE LANGAR

AMRITSAR: Former minister and senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia led devotees from Majithia constituency in donating wheat for community kitchen at Golden Temple, on Friday. Accompanied by the ‘sangat’ of Majitha, he deposited around 900 quintal wheat for the Guru Ramdas Langar Ghar. He paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum. Majithia appealed to everyone to make contribution for the langar services being run at gurdwaras. He urged the state government to give relaxation to devotees to pay obesiance at the Golden Temple and other holy places to “strengthen self-will which is important in the present times”.
