8 booked for attacking police team in Ferozepur

FEROZEPUR: Eight persons have been booked for attacking a police party at a Ferozepur village on Thursday. Punjab Home Guard constable Kehar Singh said they got a complaint on helpline by one Sarabjeet Kaur of Manjhwala village. Following this, he along with the police team, reached the spot, but a group of people attacked them and damaged the police vehicle. Accused are Stanam Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Gurmej Kaur, Pamma, Sarabjeet Singh and Buta Singh and five unidentified persons. A case has been registered under the IPC.
