BSF JAWAN HANGS SELF IN JAMMU

JAMMU: A BSF jawan has committed suicide at his camp in Paloura. The constable, who was a resident of Assam, was found hanging in the bathroom of his residence at the camp on Friday, police said. He said that preliminary investigation suggests that the jawan posted with the 98th battalion has committed suicide. Police are trying to ascertain the cause of this extreme step from the man. The body has been handed over to his unit after completion of legal formalities. “We did not find any suicide note from the bathroom. Prima facie it appears that the jawan committed suicide by hanging self,” a cop said. BSF has also instituted an internal probe
