HANDS-FREE, FOOT-OPERATED ELEVATOR!
The Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) has become the first metro rail in the country to install foot pedals in elevators to keep coronavirus at bay. The foot-operated mechanism helps avoid hand contact with the elevator buttons, thereby reducing the possibility of contracting the virus.
