Private transporters go on hunger strike in Jammu demanding relief package
JAMMU: Dozens of private transporters on Tuesday went on a hunger strike here in support of their demands, including a relief package to overcome the crisis faced due to the lockdown. They served a two-day ultimatum to the administration and threatened to intensify their agitation if it paid no heed to their demands by stopping the movement of trucks and tankers engaged in essential supplies in J&K.
