PROGRESS OF A CYCLONE

A red alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, and Pune. A red alert warning directs the state, district and municipal authorities to take precautionary action based on a forecast for widespread extremely heavy rain with high speed winds by the weather department.
