Car stolen, victim survives bullet shots

PATIALA: Unidentified persons stole a car from a 30-year-old and pumped four bullets into him near Chauhar village on Patiala-Samana road on Tuesday afternoon. Victim Ramandeep Singh, who received bullet injuries on the neck, leg and chest, is admitted at Rajindra hospital. DSP Jaswant Singh Mangat said the victim was going to Patiala when an unidentified youth took lift. “On suspicion, the victim asked the youth to get down and he fired four bullets at the victim,” police said.
