DELHI ADDS ANOTHER 1,330 CASES

NEW DELHI: The total number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi rose to 26,334 as the Capital added 1,330 new infections on Friday, while 58 more fatalities took the city’s cumulative death toll to 708.

The Capital has been adding at least 1,000 cases per day since May 28, with the exception of June 1, raising concerns about its preparedness in handling a surge in Covid-19 cases.

On Friday, the number of active cases in the national capital also exceeded the 15,000-mark.
