MOOSE WALA CASE: DSP’S SON GETS BAIL
CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana high court on Thursday granted bail to Jungsher Singh, an accused in FIRs registered by Punjab police against singer Sidhu Moose Wala shown in a video firing from an official assault rifle. Singh is son of deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Daljit Singh Virk, who was allegedly accompanying the singer during these firing incidents. The high court granted bail observing that that firing from the weapon has not been attributed Singh and further he was not in a position to grant or refuse permission to the police officials who had accompanied him at the site of shooting.
