HOTELS
Ensure proper
records of guests’ travel history, medical condition, along with ID and self-declaration form No visitor allowed in rooms Room service to be encouraged Frequently touched surfaces such as door knobs to be disinfected regularly Should encourage digital payments
For air-conditioning and ventilation, the temperature setting should be in the range of 24-30°C, relative humidity should be 40-70% and intake of fresh air should be as much as possible along with adeqaute cross ventilation
RESTAURANTS
Only 50% of the seating capacity should be utilised Takeaways to be encouraged
Disposable menus are recommended
Tables to be sanitised after each patron leaves Should encourage contactless mode of ordering and digital payments
Adequate manpower should be deployed to ensuring social-distancing norms Staggering of patrons to be done, if possible. Physical distancing of a minimum of 6 feet, when queuing up for entry and inside the restaurant as far as feasible Air-conditioning and ventilation norms same as in hotels
