ARCTIC FUEL SPILL SPREAD HAS BEEN STOPPED: RUSSIA

MOSCOW: Russia has managed to contain a massive diesel spill into a river in the Arctic, a spokesman for the emergencies ministry said on Friday. The accident happened when a diesel reservoir collapsed at a power station outside the Siberian city of Norilsk.
