MIGRANTS WERE LET DOWN

Our leaders never shirk from vociferously announcing their achievements from rooftops but they never accept their failures. The government mismanaged the Covid-19 lockdown and it was the job of the top leadership to visualise, anticipate and set in place measures to tackle the fall out of their proposed actions in advance. The poor workers were simply abandoned to their own fate, before a delayed rescue action plan was launched. Just offering sympathy is not enough. Tejinder Singh Kalra,
