Remember the viral video of Class of 2025, wherein a woman takes attendance of students with hilarious names such as Qurantina Joshi and Lockdown Singh Rathore, among others? This video, with over 172k views, is the brainchild of Snehil Dixit Mehra, popularly known as BC Aunty aka Bheri Cute Aunty. Receiving much appreciation for her script, Dixit shares that the idea came to her during a conversation with her husband. “I thought it wasn’t that funny, but later on added funny surnames to it. I shot and shared it with a couple of friends and everybody responded saying it was going to go viral,” says the web influencer, who hails from Ghaziabad.

Mehra, currently working as a creative director in Mumbai, is elated at all the love coming her way. “It’s so amazing! Kids are making their versions and sending their videos,” she says.

Another video of hers titled Class of Heroes, where she outlined the contribution of real life heroes, got shared by actor Sonu Sood. Talking of it, she says, “The way Sonu is helping people… It’s great, that somebody is using their privilege for good things.”

Though her online avatar is known as BC Aunty, Mehra says the content on her page is “extremely sanskari”. “I never use abusive language or vulgarity. Even the reviews I do don’t have any bad words. The memes are aunty-specific. You have seen aunties like this who are bholi-bhaali and cute,” she points out.
