BAJWA TAKES CHARGE AS RS PANEL CHIEF

CHANDIGARH: Rajya Sabha MP Partap Singh Bajwa on Thursday took charge as the chairman of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation in New Delhi. Bajwa was appointed as chairman of the committee on May 22 by House. The panel examines Bills which seek to delegate powers to make rules, regulations, by-laws etc or amend earlier Acts that delegate the powers of Parliament to another authority.
