3,254 CASES NEW DAY-HIGH IN MAHA

MUMBAI: Maharashtra recorded its highest single-day spike in Covid-19 cases on Wednesday with 3,254 new cases taking the tally to 94,041. The state also reported 149 deaths, taking the toll to 3,438, the state health department said. Of the 3,254 cases, 1,567 were from Mumbai, taking the city total to 52,667. A total of 44,517 people who had tested positive for Covid-19 have been discharged so far. There are 46,074 active cases, while 593,784 have been tested so far.
