NO ‘PARSHAD’ YET

This is not the right time to grant permission to serve ‘parshad’ at religious places, as the Punjab government has done. The state’s decision is not a sound one and can lead to a surge in covid-19 cases. Serving langar should be allowed as it can help daily wagers have two square meals. However, all protocols should be followed and precautions taken. One must not forget that a stitch in time saves nine.
