NEPAL MUST BACK OFF
India is facing multi-pronged attack from its neighbours. The artificial enlargement of the map by Nepal’s parliament is untenably flawed and there is likelihood that this move was contrived at the behest of some other country. India and Nepal share deep cultural ties and both nations have majorly been on friendly terms, but now it has confronted India on land claims without negotiating. Nepal should avoid riding roughshod on India’s moderate conversational stances and remember its hard-hitting action on the ground, especially when keeping its sovereignty intact without yielding even an inch of land to any tactical pressure along the border.
