27-YEAR-OLD WOMAN RAPED IN FEROZEPUR

FEROZPEUR: A 27-year-old woman was allegedly raped by three people in Gur Har Sahai of Ferozepur district, police said on Friday. The woman, a resident of Gur Har Sahai village, said that she had taken a lift from three men in a car from the village bus stop on Wednesday as no bus was available. The men took her to an isolated place and allegedly raped her at gun point. The woman was examined at the local civil hospital. A case was registered against one Sharanjit Singh and two other unidentified persons under sections of the Indian Penal Code.
