PVT LAB SEALED FOR NOT TAKING PRECAUTIONS

PATIALA: The district health department has sealed a private clinical laboratory for not taking precautionary measures while collecting blood samples. The department has also served a notice to the lab. As per the department, a 47-year-old Covid-19 positive patient had visited the lab a few days back and the staff took her blood sample without any safety measures. District epidemiologist Dr Sumeet Singh said, “The lab was sealed for seven days for violating Covid-19 safety guidelines.” “None of the lab staff was wearing masks and gloves.
