MAN HELD WITH 7,000 INTOXICATING TABLETS

FARIDKOT: Police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler from near Golewala village for possessing around 7,000 intoxicating tablets. The accused was identified as Swaran Singh of Kamghar village in Ferozepur district. A case was registered under Sections 22-61-85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the Faridkot Sadar police station.
