FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND: PPCB LAUNCHES PROJECT TO TREAT WASTEWATER

KAPURTHALA: : Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) chairperson SS Marwaha inaugurated a ‘in-situ remediation project’, first of its kind in the state, on Bhulana drain in Kapurthala on Saturday to treat wastewater. The PPCB has developed the low-cost model of in-situ remediation to treat the wastewater. Bhulana drain carries wastewater of 27 colonies and it converges into Holy Bein. The project will help in improving water quality of Holy Bein.
