NIA TO QUIZ TAKSAL FACTION LEADER AJNALA

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is going to question Amrik Singh Ajnala, leader of a splinter group of Sikh seminary Damdami Taksal, in a case registered by it under various sections of IPC, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and NDPS Act. The NIA has camped in Amritsar as the questioning was scheduled on Sunday. Ajnala was intimated in this regard over phone and asked to appear before the sleuths of the NIA in a government resthouse here. However, the Damdami Taksal leader, who was also appointed as parallel jathedar of Takht Kesgarh Sahib during Sarbat Khalsa, was not available. So, the questioning was delayed for two days.
