HIMACHAL SCIENCE COUNCIL ORGANISES SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING

SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh Science, Technology and Environment Council organised solar eclipse viewing in Shimla on Sunday. Secretary of the council, Rajneesh, presided over the programme. The council made arrangements for the public to observe solar eclipse through solar filters at the state secretariat in Chhota Shimla and Padam Dev Complex at Ridge Maidan. Through this, people were able to witness the sun’s surface being directly covered by the moon.
