Through lockdown 1 to 4, while there was a consistent increase in the number of restaurants opening up for delivery along with an increasing number of customers wanting to order, apps continued to support them but they also began to include the high-end. Marquee hotels and fine dining restaurants dropped their exclusivity tag and started doing home deliveries via food apps. Swiggy, for instance, onboarded hundreds of new restaurants that were heavily focused on dine-in and previously not available for online delivery. These included hotels and high end standalone restaurants in Deli and Mumbai such as Marriott, Hyatt, ITC Hotels (also in Chennai), Spectra at Leela and Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara, Foo. Many highend restaurants in Delhi also started delivering through Zomato such as Sly Granny and Anglow
