Through lock­down 1 to 4, while there was a con­sis­tent in­crease in the num­ber of restau­rants open­ing up for de­liv­ery along with an in­creas­ing num­ber of cus­tomers want­ing to or­der, apps con­tin­ued to sup­port them but they also be­gan to in­clude the high-end. Mar­quee ho­tels and fine din­ing restau­rants dropped their ex­clu­siv­ity tag and started do­ing home de­liv­er­ies via food apps. Swiggy, for in­stance, on­boarded hun­dreds of new restau­rants that were heav­ily fo­cused on dine-in and pre­vi­ously not avail­able for on­line de­liv­ery. Th­ese in­cluded ho­tels and high end stand­alone restau­rants in Deli and Mum­bai such as Mar­riott, Hy­att, ITC Ho­tels (also in Chen­nai), Spec­tra at Leela and Hakkasan, Yau­atcha, Nara, Foo. Many high­end restau­rants in Delhi also started de­liv­er­ing through Zo­mato such as Sly Granny and An­glow
