AMRITSAR AIRPORT INDIA’S 3RD BUSIEST AMID LOCKDOWN
AMRITSAR: The Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport in Amritsar has emerged as the third busiest airport in the country during the coronavirus-induced lockdown. In a recent traffic report released by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) for April, the Amritsar airport recorded a total of 5,972 international and domestic passengers, leaving behind all major airports in India, except Delhi and Mumbai. Delhi was on the top with 20,624 and Mumbai second with 9,051 passengers.
