Woman found dead in Yamunanagar

AMBALA: Body of a 55-year-old woman was found at her quarters in Yamunanagar on Wednesday, police said.

As per information, a milk vendor who had gone to her house in the morning raised alarm after getting no response from her.

Farakpur station in-charge said the woman had been staying alone since her husband died a few years ago.

He said that an FIR was registered under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

SP Kamaldeep Goyal said, “The body was found in naked state with some items and clothes scattered around. It is yet to be ascertained what was the motive behind the murder.”
