RS 25L GRANT FOR GALWAN HERO’S VILLAGE

BATHINDA : Finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal on Friday announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh for the development of Birewala Dogra village in Mansa, which is the native place of sepoy Gurtej Singh, who was killed in action during the Galwan Valley conflict. He said a library will be built in the soldier’s memory at a village’s school. Manpreet assured Gurtej’s family that a tubewell will be installed in their field. HTC
