MAN KILLS 45-YEAR-OLD LANDLORD IN PHILLAUR

PHILLAUR: A man killed his 45-year-old landlord on Friday as he suspected him to be having an affair with his wife. The victim, Baljeet Singh, 45, of Navi Abadi village was a financier had loaned the accused Harpreet Singh Rs 10,000 and later demanded Rs 20,000 with interest, said Phillaur deputy superintendent of police Davinder Kumar. Harpreet has been arrested under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
