KARAN AVTAR PROCEEDS ON TWO-MONTH LEAVE

CHANDIGARH: A day after his removal as chief secretary, Punjab, IAS officer Karan Avtar Singh on Saturday proceeded on a twomonth leave, it is learnt. On Friday, he was removed as chief secretary and replaced by 1987batch IAS Vini Mahajan. Singh was posted as special chief secretary, governance reforms and public grievances.
