DAWN OF A DIGITAL WAR
After the Indo-Chinese clash in Ladakh, India banned 59 Chinese apps on Monday. This move comes at a time when calls to boycott Chinese goods are growing louder across the country. Though the possibility of an armed conflict is remote, India is adopting strategies to decrease Chinese interference and interaction. The banning of Chinese applications is a digital strike against China. The public, too, has supported and appreciated the move. India is now keen on making its own apps for millions of users. The nation is now working on becoming self-sufficient.
