SPURIOUS CLAIMS

Yoga guru Ramdev’s tall claims of having found a cure for Covid-19 have led to confusion among the medical fraternity. While top scientists across the globe are working overtime to develop a Covid-19 vaccine, the yoga guru has made a misleading claim. The government had not authorised the Patanjali Ayurved business conglomerate to search for a cure for Covid-19. The Union health and broadcasting ministries must prevent Ramdev from publicising the discovery of a ‘panacea’ lest gullible people fall prey.
