Man stabs wife to death in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA : A quarrel over ‘dinner’ took an ugly turn after a 43-yearold man killed his wife in Salem Tabri on Monday night. The victim, Jasvir Kaur,40, was killed by her husband Kulwant Singh, who was arrested on Tuesday. According to Salem Tabri SHO Gopal Krishan, the accused used to suspect his wife to be an infidel. The accused stabbed his wife seven times, he said. A case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused.
