SGPC to set up four more Covid care centres in Punjab
AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will set up four more Covid-19 care centres in the state. SGPC president Jagir Kaur said, “Four more care centres will be set up at Adampur in Jalandhar, Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Sangrur, at Gurdwara Sahib in Wajidpur, Ferozepur, and Gurdwara Bhattha Sahib in Roopnagar.” Three centres are already operational at Alamgir in Ludhiana, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib and
Bholath. “As there is a shortage of doctors and other support staff, I appeal to the Indian Medical Council (IMA) to support SGPC by providing services of their doctors and then the Sikh body will be in position to open such centres in all the district of Punjab,” she said.
