‘Gramin Chowkidars’ to get EPF in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has decided to give benefits of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to ‘Gramin Chowkidars’ in state, an official spokesperson said. A proposal has been approved by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the decision is set to benefit 7,017 ‘Gramin Chowkidars’. The decision is expected to put a Rs 7 crore financial burden on the state per year.
