Apropos of ‘Covid-19: The everyday tragedy in Indian cities, towns and villages’, the tragic situation created by the pandemic is a matter of concern. Mental health disorders are sapping the strength and energy of people. Negative thoughts and emotions have destroyed the joys of life. We request our political leaders, civil administration and health authorities to address mental health problems as well. The political leadership must learn lessons from past mistakes and lapses. .
