Her profile humbly reads — an educationist, but her ability to wear multiple hats puts her in a league of no compare. A wife at 18, a mother at 19, Geetika shrugged off the conservative, mothers-stay-at-home outlook and took to arming herself academically. She post graduated in Education and took the first job that came her way — a part time teacher with CMS. Geetika’s talent and innovative ways didn’t go unnoticed and she was absorbed as a full time preprimary teacher with St Teresa College where she won numerous laurels. In five years she became Junior Headmistress and got additional responsibility of Senior Sections. She has authored numerous books. Besides a nursery rhymes book for both ICSE and CBSE students, her path breaking books offer multiple benefits. Her books reduced the physical burden of the students and are a gold mine for hands-onapproach to learning in a fun filled manner. Geetika is in the process of writing two more books which will again cater to the pre-primary learners. Her endeavour recently earned her the ‘Best Educationist’ award at the hands of National Society for Innovation. Geetika epitomizes a never-say-die-attitude who converts challenges into workable outcomes. The brain and inspiration behind ‘Go Green’ movement, Geetika persists with her resolve currently as Principal, St Teresa College and as convenor of ISC examinations.
