Stars shoot shaadi scene in town
The lush-green Balrampur Gardens witnessed a reellife marriage ceremony for three consecutive nights as the cast and crew of Shadi Mein Zaroor Aana extensively shot their climax scene at the location. Lead actors Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda were seen enacting their role alongwith Karanvir Sharma who has a special appearence in the film.
The crew is has been shooting in the state capital since March 30, after is Allahabad-leg, and will wrapup the shoot in the city on May 5. They will finally shoot for a day in Kanpur, informed film’s producer Vinod Bachchan.
Film director Ratna Sinha, wife of ace producer-director Anubhav Sinha, was seen helming the affair with actors Govind Namdev, KK Raina, Vipin Sharma, Alka Amin, Navini Parihar and Manoj Pahwa. Former UP Film Development Corporation vice-president Gaurav Dwivedi is also playing a role in the film.
Film’s line-producer Aroon Singh Dicky informed that they have extensively shot the film in Pandariba and Sadar. Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana has been written by Kamal Pandey who also wrote Saheb Biwi Aur Gangsters Return.
Bachchan informed that he will be soon back in town with his new film Yaaron Ki Baraat that has been written by Ikram Akhtar, also a Lucknowite. The film’s star cast will be announced soon.
