Siddharth inspired by Aamir Khan

Having worked together in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Rang De Basanti (2006), which also starred Aamir Khan, Siddharth is quite fond of the latter’s acting prowess and his unique and interesting ways to promote his films. The actor is currently promoting his forthcoming film, which is a horror.

Everyone knows that Aamir, who is also known to be a perfectionist, loves to gauge audiences’ reaction before he goes ahead with the release of his film. Which is why, he mostly follows the audience testing trick and organises focus screenings before his film’s release. And now, Siddharth, too, has decided to do the same for his film.

The actor is more than happy as his film has been getting good response. A source says, “Since it is a horror film, it was important for Siddharth to know the audiences’ reaction to ensure that it was scary enough. During one of the screenings, a scene made the audience jump out of their scenes.”

Talking about the same, Siddharth says, “Audience testing is a fantastic process and I saw it for the first time with Rang de Basanti. When we set out to make a horror film, we knew we would take advantage of testing. The results were fantastic and it helped us fine tune the film. We’re going in with more confidence now. This is a really scary film.”
